- You must provide the appropriate technical requirements (working webcam, laptop/computer, internet connectivity).

Frissítve: 2020.05.12

The HTB constantly monitors the international and domestic epidemiological situation We do our best to meet the requirements of official bodies and authorities and to protect the health of our candidates.

In the light of the measures taken by the Hungarian Operational Staff, HTB conducted with local supervision (classroom) postpones the following examination dates:

Pursuant to the regulations contained in the Government Decrees on measures to be taken during an emergency, it will not be possible to conduct classroom examinations to be organized by HTB until the declared emergency situation has ended.

Restrictions do not apply to remotely supervised (online) exams, so we will hold them according to the dates announced in the exam calendar.

In case of cancellation of an exam date, the applicants for the given exam will be notified via email and will have the opportunity to postpone the exam without further costs until the end of 2020. The invoice for the exam fee will only be filled out once we are convinced that the exam is feasible and the exam can be transacted.

A similar situation can arise for the exams in the following months, where it might be necessary to postpone the exam dates to a later date, or even change the location of the exam. We will keep this post updated to reflect these changes.

Generally, according to our regulations, the exam can be canceled or rescheduled without costs before the application deadline. In addition, as long as the current epidemiological situation does not change, we will also accept overdue unscheduled exam cancellations without any cost.

Of course, candidates will be notified of any changes to the exam in a separate email in each case.

HTB’s portfolio includes the IREB CPRE FL and IREB RE @ Agile Primer exams from January 2020. We recommend these primarily to those who work on requirements. We have taken a decisive step towards one of HTB's general objectives, which is to help increase the quality of IT developments not only by supporting the testing profession but also by supporting other areas. Advanced and Expert level exams will also be available soon.

In February 2020, ISTQB published a revised, improved version of the CTAL Test Analyst and CTAL Technical Test Analyst curricula. Both Syllabi contain significant changes including learning objectives, course structure, and exam regulations.
HTB will provide both the 2012 and 2019 Syllabi CTAL-TA and CTAL-TTA exams in parallel until the end of 2020. From 2021, it will only be possible to take exams from both modules according to the 2019 Syllabus.
The new curricula are available on the ISTQB website: here.
In December 2019, ISTQB released a revised, improved version of the 2018 Foundation Level Syllabus. The corrections for the 2018 Syllabus, which has been in use for more than a year, were based on feedback from several ISTQB member organizations.

The 2018 V3.1 version contains only minor improvements, so the 2018 Syllabus courses, that are already available in Hungary, provide adequate preparation for the exams of the 2018 V3.1 Syllabus. However, before the exam, it is worth getting to know what corrections and improvements have been included in the curriculum. You can find information about the changes in the Release Notesissued by ISTQB.

As of January 2020, HTB’s Core CTFL (Foundation Certificate) exams in all three exam languages will be based exclusively on the 2018 V3.1 version of the curriculum (CTFL Syllabus 2018 V3.1). The Hungarian version of the curriculum can be downloaded from our website.

We wish everyone a Merry, Peaceful Christmas and a Happy New Year!
